Shah Rukh Khan’s Meer Foundation extends aid to 1,500 flood-affected families in Punjab

Mumbai, Sept 12 (UNI) Bollywood’s King Khan Shah Rukh Khan, through his charitable trust, Meer Foundation, has reached out to 1,500 families affected by the devastating floods in Punjab, providing urgent humanitarian assistance in collaboration with local NGOs.

The aid packages, carefully curated to meet essential needs, contain medicines, hygiene products, food provisions, mosquito nets, tarpaulin sheets, folding beds and cotton mattresses among other vital supplies.

This initiative will reach a total of 1,500 families in districts like Amritsar, Patiala, Fazilka and Firozpur. Its aim is to meet the immediate health, safety and shelter needs of the people so that the flood-affected families can get back on track with dignity.
