Bhopal: Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital organized a free refraction, eye, and dental check-up camp today at Lalghati Square in the capital under the ‘Parwah’ scheme during Road Safety Month–2025. The camp was inaugurated by DCP Traffic Jitendra Singh Pawar, along with senior traffic police officers and officials of Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital, by garlanding portraits of deities and Saint Hirdaram Sahib ji and lighting lamps.
A total of 219 patients underwent eye and dental examinations. During screening, 15 patients were diagnosed with cataract and 25 with refractive errors. Free spectacles were distributed to drivers with weak eyesight, while eye drops were provided to those suffering from eye ailments. Drivers with serious eye conditions were advised immediate treatment at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital. Blood pressure and diabetes tests were also conducted.
Traffic police personnel participated in large numbers, and CPR training was provided. DCP Pawar emphasized that regular eye check-ups are vital for road safety. Hospital Secretary Hero Gyanchandani highlighted Sewa Sadan’s continued commitment to quality eye care and blindness prevention.
