Hyderabad, Oct 1 (UNI) Seven people lost their lives and three others were injured in two separate road accidents that occurred in Telangana at midnight on Monday.
In the first incident, four people were killed on the spot and three others were injured when the car they were travelling in lost control and overturned after hitting a road divider on the National Highway at Mekalagandi, Gudihathnur Mandal in Adilabad district.
The injured were rushed to RIMS Hospital in Adilabad for treatment.
The deceased, who were residents of Adilabad, have been identified as Moiz (60), Khaza Mohiddin (40), Usmanuddin (10), and Ali (8).
In another accident, three people were killed when the two-wheeler they were riding collided with a truck near MITS College, Chilukuru Mandal, in Suryapet district.
The victims were on their way to Guntipalli Annaram, Triburam Mandal, Nalgonda district, from Kodad in Suryapet district when the accident occurred, police said.
The deceased were identified as M Dinesh (22), V Vamshi (22), and Abhiralla Srikanth (21).
Cases were registered in respective police stations, and an investigation is underway, police said.
