Thiruvananthapuram, Dec 9 (UNI) Seven films will be screened in the competition category on the second day of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK), dealing with contemporary themes such as survival, love and thriller.
Family (Malayalam) by Don Palathara, The Sentence (Malayalam) by Fazil Razak and Agra (Hindi) by Kanu Behl are the Indian movies included in the schedule on Saturday.

It premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight in the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. Southern Storm (La Sudestada) is a 2023 Spanish language film adapted from Juan Saenz Valiente’s eponymous comic, that tells the story of a grumpy old private detective.
The debut feature film by Lillah Hallah, Power Alley (Levante) is the story of Sofia who has to overcome her barriers to become an exceptional Volleyball player in the backdrop of Brazilian conservatism.
The Snowstorm by Sabit Kurmanbekov is a 2022 Kazakh movie that travels through the story of a young guy who migrates from his native place due to a snowstorm during the late 80s.
Diego del Rio film All the Silence tells the story of Miriam an actress who is also a sign language teacher who later on faces problems that lead to a downward spiral of her life.
