Mumbai, Apr 25 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Friday lost further by 369 pts at 79, 431.20 in the opening session as selling was seen across the board amid mixed global cues.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) fell 83.85 pts at 24,158.15 pts.
The BSE Sensex registered an intraday high at 80,130.66 and an intraday low at 79,144.30, respectively.
The Nifty registered a day’s high at 24,365.45 and a low at 24,148.35 pts.
The mid cap fell 1.44 pc and the small cap by 2.13 pc.
In 30 scrips, 9 advanced while 21 declined.
The losers were Axis Bank, down 3.75pc to Rs 1162, Adani Ports by 1.85 pc to Rs 1213.95, Bajaj Finance by 1.81 pc to Rs 9130 and Bajaj Finserv by 1.85 pc to Rs 2066.50.
The gainers were TCS by 1.45 pc to Rs 3450.45, Infosys by 0.99 pc to Rs 1485.85, Reliance industries by 0.58 pc to Rs 1309.25 and Hind Unilever by 0.34 pc to Rs 2333.25.
