Bhopal: Perform your karma without attachment to the results,” is the essence of the “karma siddhanta” as shared by Muni Shri Praman Sagar Maharaj during a morning assembly at Vidya Praman Gurukulam Awadhpuri. He emphasized the importance of focusing on duty rather than the outcomes of our actions. Muni Shri illustrated this philosophy with the example of the Sun, which rises daily to illuminate the world without concern for recognition or appreciation.
He quoted Lord Krishna from the Bhagavad Gita, stating, “You have the right to perform your work, but not to the fruits of your labor.” Muni Shri urged attendees to introspect whether their actions stem from a genuine sense of duty or a desire for results. He highlighted that parents have a fundamental responsibility to nurture their children and instill good values, emphasizing that a sense of duty leads to a peaceful and fulfilling life.
“When we act out of duty, we experience less turmoil and restlessness,” he noted. As a reminder, Muni Sangh’s spokesperson, Avinash Jain, announced the upcoming Daslakshan festival, which will feature a Shravak Sanskar Shivir from August 28 to September 6, along with daily Bhavana Yoga sessions. Those who have not yet registered can do so by contacting the organizing committee.
