New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) Selena Gomez has once again delighted fans with the release of her latest song, “In The Dark,” featured on the Nobody Wants This Season 2 soundtrack. The track was accompanied by its official music video, released earlier this week.
The soundtrack also includes contributions from acclaimed artists such as Chris Stapleton, Kacey Musgraves, and Finneas.
Directed by Luke Orlando, the visually stunning video shows Gomez dressed in an all-black ensemble, walking through vast, open spaces while delivering an emotional performance about love, acceptance, and self-discovery during challenging times.
She sings, “And I’ll be there when you lose yourself / To remind you of who you are / And I’ll be there like nobody else / You’re still beautiful in the dark.”
After the release, Gomez took to Instagram to share a snippet from the video, captioning it: “‘In The Dark’ is out now. This is just a little nostalgia droplet, and I hope you love it.”
The new single follows her earlier collaborative album “I Said I Loved You First” with her husband, Benny Blanco, which dropped earlier this year. The album chronicled their real-life love story — from their first meeting to the dreams they share for the future.
The Nobody Wants This Season 2 soundtrack features 19 songs from various artists and is now available for streaming, alongside the second season of the hit series.
