Security tightened at Bhopal Airport following bomb threat Email

Bhopal – Heightened security measures have been implemented at Raja Bhoj Airport in Bhopal following a bomb threat email received on Sunday. Since Monday morning, stringent checks are being conducted on all individuals and vehicles entering the airport premises.

The threat prompted authorities to step up surveillance both inside and around the airport complex. The email allegedly warned of a plan to blow up the airport, prompting an immediate response from security agencies.

Following the alert, the Gandhinagar police have launched an investigation. So far, no FIR has been registered, but cyber experts are actively working to trace the origin and source of the threatening email. Police Station In-Charge Brijendra Marskole confirmed that further action will be taken once more information is gathered.

Meanwhile, the Airport Director has reported the incident to the headquarters in Delhi, and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has tightened screening at entry points and vehicle parking zones. All incoming vehicles are being thoroughly inspected, and passenger movement is under close watch.

Authorities have assured passengers that all necessary steps are being taken to ensure their safety, and that airport operations remain unaffected despite the enhanced security protocol.
