Security of Ram Lalla beefed up amid Indo-Pak tension: SSP

Ayodhya (UP), May 9 (UNI) In the wake of the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, the security arrangements of Ram Lalla seated on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi here in Ayodhya have been tightened further, a senior officer said here on Friday.

While talking to the reporters in the Police Line Auditorium here, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr Gaurav Grover said that in view of the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan, the security arrangements of Ram Lalla seated on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi have been tightened, and CRPF, SSF, PCS, PSC, Civil Police and other security agencies have been deployed.

He said that the security can be further increased if needed. He said that the devotees who are coming from outside to see Ram Lalla are being given a good darshan.

The SSP said, “Special attention is being paid to ensure that they do not face any problem. Ayodhya is a religious and famous historical city. The security arrangements here are paramount. Anyway, the security arrangements of the entire Ayodhya are always maintained, but the security arrangements of Ram Lalla seated on Shri Ram Janmabhoomi are very tight.”

He said that the system that was implemented by the police administration and the district administration in case of large crowds in Ayodhya is still in place on Friday. “If there is any need, changes will be made in it,” he said.

Grover said that the main priority of the government is that the public hearing should be done in a better manner. “For this, the applicant’s application will be registered. So that their problem can be resolved in a qualitative manner,” he said.
