New Delhi, Aug 28 (UNI) union Minister for Communications Jyotiraditya Scindia today chaired a high-level meeting on the restoration of mobile connectivity in flood-affected regions of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Jammu & Kashmir (J&K).
He said on X “ Reviewed telecom restoration efforts in flood-affected Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand & Jammu & Kashmir with DOT India, BSNL Corporate & other telecom operators.”
“Directed urgent, war-footing action, with ICR ready activated & fibre cuts being rapidly restored. Ensuring people stay connected with their families & essential services is our foremost priority,” the post added.
Telecom secretary Neeraj Mittal and other senior officials from the Ministry of Communications, BSNL, and other telecom operators were present at this meeting.
