New Delhi, July 30 (UNI) The Supreme Court in Tuesday dismissed the pleas of a former Uttar Pradesh District Judge against media outlets and senior journalists for publishing news reports in 2017 in which allegations of corruption and impropriety in the judicial process were levelled against him.
While dismissing the petition, a bench comprising Justice B R Gavai and Justice K V Viswanathan said that the court would refuse to interfere with Allahabad High Court’s order, by which the defamation case proceedings were quashed against the media entities and journalists.
