- Patwari raises matter of Transport Department scam
- Claims scam of 1300 crores in six pages
Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal
Madhya Pradesh Congress President Jeetu Patwari has raised questions on the role of investigation agencies in relation to the disclosure of movable and immovable assets worth crores of rupees during raids on former constable of Transport Department Saurabh Sharma and his hideouts, as well as the alleged ‘diary’ found.
Patwari said in a press conference here that the Lokayukta team first raided Saurabh Sharma’s hideouts and the alleged 66-page diary first came to the Lokayukta. After this, the Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) also took action in Saurabh’s case. But even after so much time, Saurabh Sharma has not been arrested or there is no information about his whereabouts, which gives rise to many doubts. Along with this, why is no responsible person saying anything about the alleged diary and its six pages going viral on social media. The state Congress president presented about six pages of the alleged diary going viral on social media to the media and claimed that it contains accounts of about 1300 crore rupees. When there is so much accounting in six pages only, then it can be estimated how much accounting will be there in all 66 pages. He alleged that he has been saying from the beginning that this is a scam of about twenty thousand crore rupees. Patwari said that the tenure of ‘two Chief Ministers’ is being mentioned.
