New Delhi, Nov 12 (UNI) Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud is arriving on a two-day visit, during which he will hold talks with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar.
The Saudi Foreign Minister, who arrives late on Tuesday evening, will hold talks with EAM tomorrow noon, and depart in the afternoon itself.
The meeting comes amid reports that Saudi Arabia has lost some of its crude oil market share in India to Russia.
Saudi Arabia is also reported to be considering investment opportunities in Indian Government-backed Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited’s (BPCL) new refinery project.
In 2019, Saudi Arabia and India signed a memorandum of understanding, announcing the kingdom’s investment plan across various sectors including energy.
