Satwik-Chirag re-enter Top 10 BWF rankings

New Delhi, July 29 (UNI) India’s premier men’s doubles pair, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, have made a strong return to the top 10 in the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings, reaffirming their place among the elite after a brief dip earlier this season.

Their reentry into the upper bracket comes amid intense competition in the Asian circuit, where Korean and Malaysian pairs continue to dominate.

Korea’s Kim Won Ho and Seo Seung Jae have cemented their position at No. 1, maintaining their lead with 85,000 points and an impressive tally of 79 career wins. The duo saw no change in their ranking and remain the pair to beat.

Malaysia’s Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik have climbed to second place with 68,750 points, overtaking compatriots Man Wei Chong and Tee Kai Wun, who now occupy third with 65,630 points.

Thailand’s Kittinupong Kedren and Dechapol Puavaranukroh moved up to fourth place with 57,040 points, while Taiwan’s Lee Fang-Chih and Lee Fang-Jen are fifth with 55,000.

With renewed momentum and top-tier tournaments on the horizon, Satwik and Chirag will be aiming to build on their ranking surge and climb further up the ladder.
