Mumbai, Feb 10 (UNI) Seasoned character actor Sanjay Mishra has spoken appreciatively of Babil Khan during a chat show appearance for the film “Vadh 2”.
When Babil came up during the conversation, Mishra compared him to his late father and legendary actor Irrfan Khan, which is considered a huge compliment in itself.
Speaking on the show, Mishra said, “Bada cute lagta Hain yaar. Kabhi Kabar lagta Hain young Irrfan Bhai, NSD wale (He is very cute. Sometimes it feels like he is a young Irrfan, from his NSD days)”.
Mishra’s words carry particular weight because of long experience in films and theatre. Viewers often associate Sanjay Mishra with nuanced character work and a grounded approach. That background makes the comparison with Irrfan Khan especially notable, as Mishra is known for careful, measured praise.
Irrfan’s son, Babil Khan, stepped into acting in 2022 with his debut in the Netflix film “Qala”. Since then, he has appeared in projects like “Friday Night Plan”, “The Railway Men” and “Logout”.
