Los Angeles, Nov 21 (UNI) Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions are set to release the Bollywood romantic drama ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’ on February 20, 2026, strategically timed to coincide with Valentine’s week, according to Variety.
The film stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur in a contemporary romance that blends modern storytelling with classic sensibilities. Directed by Ravi Udyawar, known for the 2017 thriller Mom, the project promises a heartfelt exploration of love for a new generation of audiences.
Chaturvedi, following notable roles in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan and Gehraiyaan, continues to diversify his portfolio beyond his breakthrough in Gully Boy. Thakur, whose recent credits include Sita Ramam, Jersey, and Netflix’s Lust Stories 2, brings her signature charm to the lead role, Variety reports.
Producers describe the film as a return to sincere, heartfelt romance in Hindi cinema, complemented by a musical score that fuses contemporary sounds with melodies reminiscent of classic love stories.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali produces alongside Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal, and Bharat Kumar Ranga, in association with Ravi Udyawar Films. Bhansali’s recent directorial work includes Gangubai Kathiawadi and the Netflix series ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’, while his production house has backed films like Tuesdays and Fridays and Malaal.
Bhansali’s next directorial venture, Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, is scheduled to hit theaters on August 14, 2026.
Kapoor made his leading man debut with Bhansali’s Saawariya (2007), an adaptation of Fyodor Dostoevsky, while Bhatt starred in Bhansali’s women-empowerment saga Gangubai Kathiawadi, which premiered at the 2022 Berlinale.
Kapoor and Bhatt also shared the screen in Disney’s Brahmastra Part One: Shiva (2022). Kaushal, meanwhile, delivered one of 2025’s biggest hits with the historical epic Chhaava, following notable performances in Bad Newz, Sam Bahadur, and Dunki.
