New Delhi, Dec 27 (UNI) Superstar Salman Khan marked his 60th birthday on Saturday with a grand celebration at his Panvel farmhouse, surrounded by close friends and family.
Before the party kicked off, the actor made time for the paparazzi, cutting his birthday cake with them and starting the celebrations on a cheerful note.
Salman chose to celebrate the milestone privately at his farmhouse, with several notable guests attending, including his father Salim Khan and actress Huma Qureshi.
As the clock struck midnight, he stepped out under tight security to share a brief moment with photographers, highlighting his appreciation for the media who have covered his journey over the years.
Videos shared on social media show Salman cutting a red-and-white birthday cake while photographers sang the ‘Happy Birthday’ song. He offered cake slices to the paparazzi and posed for pictures, warmly interacting with the media.
In one clip, he is seen giving a side hug and kissing the forehead of a member of the press, all while laughing and smiling in a jovial mood. The actor kept his look casual for the celebration, sporting a black T-shirt, blue jeans, and a clean-shaven appearance.
Salman was last seen on the big screen in Sikandar, which underperformed at the box office. He also made a cameo in Aryan Khan’s directorial debut web show, The Ba*ds of Bollywood, and hosted Bigg Boss 19.
Next, the superstar will appear in Battle of Galwan, a film based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and co-starring Chitrangda Singh, the movie depicts the rare border skirmish, where soldiers engaged in hand-to-hand combat using sticks and stones rather than firearms.
