London, July 1 (UNI) The women’s singles world No. 3 Aryna Sabalenka has withdrawn from this year’s Wimbledon Championships on Monday due to a shoulder injury.
The Belarusian ace was slated to play her first-round match against American Emina Bektas later on Monday. Now, she has been replaced by lucky loser Erika Andreeva from Russia.
The 26-year-old Sabalenka reached the semifinals at the All England Club twice.
