Rose Exhibition to be formally inaugurated today

Bhopal: The city will witness a vibrant celebration of flowers with the formal inauguration of the 45th All India Rose Exhibition on January 10 at the Rose Garden complex. The exhibition is jointly organised by the MP Rose Society and the Department of Horticulture and Food Processing. The inaugural ceremony will be attended by MLA from Huzur constituency Rameshwar Sharma as the chief guest, while Sushil Prakash, President of the World Federation of Rose Societies, will attend\as the special guest.

The exhibition showcases a wide range of rose varieties grown in gardens across Bhopal city and nearby areas within a radius of nearly 40 kilometres. Renowned rose growers producing large quantities of roses were invited to participate in the competition by submitting online or offline applications by January 6.

Exhibition drew a large number of visitors

Although the formal inauguration took place on January 10, the exhibition opened for the public on January 9 and drew a large number of visitors. People were mesmerized by the breathtaking display of roses in vivid colours and unique forms. Rare hybrid varieties, perfectly bloomed roses, and artistic floral arrangements captivated visitors, who were seen clicking photographs and admiring the fragrance and beauty of the flowers. Families, students, and nature lovers spent hours exploring the garden, making the opening day a memorable experience.
