RMNH holds cleanliness drive along Link Road

The Regional Museum of Natural History (RMNH) organized a cleanliness drive titled “Shramdaan – Ek Din Ek Ghanta Ek Sath” on Thursday as part of the Swachchhata Hi Seva-2025 campaign. The program saw enthusiastic participation from 50 individuals.

Dr. Beenish Rafat, Scientist-D and Head of Office, welcomed the participants and highlighted the significance of cleanliness in daily life. The drive was held near the museum’s main gate along Link Road No. 3. Participants actively collected plastic waste, polythene bags, wrappers, and other non-biodegradable materials, which were later handed over to the Municipal Corporation for proper disposal.

Following the cleanup, a cleanliness rally was conducted to spread public awareness. At the end of the event, all attendees, including officers, students, and staff, took the Swachhata Pledge to uphold cleanliness in their surroundings. Scientist-C Manik Lal Gupta urged everyone to continue their commitment. Participation certificates were distributed to all.
