Rly employee dies in mishap while on Duty at Bhadbhada Station

Bhopal: A railway employee was hit by a train at Bhadbhada station in Sukhisewania. He died on the spot. He was on duty at the time of the incident. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. The body was handed over to the family after the post-mortem on Sunday afternoon.

According to SI CL Yadav, Awadhesh Sahu, son of Dubeylal Sahu (40), a resident of Gali No. 5, Dwarka Nagar Bajariya, worked as a keyman for the railway.

He had arrived at Bhadbhada station on Sunday morning with a colleague to check the tracks. While alighting from the train, he was struck by the train, resulting in his death.

Was the father of four daughters

The deceased was the father of four daughters. The train was moving slowly at the time of the accident. He and his colleague attempted to alight. The colleague alighted, but Awadhesh lost his balance while alighting, resulting in his being struck and killed. After receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and after Panchnama action, sent the body for post-mortem.
