- Proposal to give contract service to senior doctors till 70 years
Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla has said that the state government is continuously working to make health services accessible, high quality and comprehensive for the general public. The experience of senior doctors, strong base of modern medical colleges and timely appointment process will enable better health services to be provided to the citizens of the state. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla conducted an in-depth review of various subjects related to the Health and Medical Education Department at the residence office in Bhopal.
Shukla directed to prepare a proposal to give contract service to senior subject specialist doctors till the age of 70, with the aim of taking advantage of the experience of them in the state. The proposal will be submitted soon for cabinet approval. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla said that the services of experienced doctors will increase the quality of medical institutions of the state and this decision will also help in meeting the shortage of doctors.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed to prepare a detailed proposal for the upgradation of medical colleges of Rewa and Indore soon. He said that for this, infrastructure development of colleges, arrangement of state-of-the-art equipment and other necessary works should also be completed on time. Shri Shukla also directed to complete the recruitment process of medical officers and specialist doctors within the time limit through Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission. He told the concerned officials that all the necessary formalities should be completed on priority immediately while staying in regular contact with MPPSC so that health services can be further strengthened.
