New Delhi, Dec 12 (UNI) Year-on-year provisional inflation rate based on All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the current month over the corresponding period last year has gone up to 0.71 per cent, the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation statement said on Friday here.
There is an increase of 46 basis points in headline inflation of November 2025 in comparison to October 2025.
Meanwhile, food inflation for the current month over the corresponding period last year stood at -3.91 per cent (provisional).
The increase in headline and food inflation during the current month is attributed to an increase in the prices of vegetables, egg, meat, spices, fuel and light.
Urban inflation during Nov stood at 1.40 per cent (Provisional), which is 0.88 per cent in the previous month.
On the other hand, Housing and Education inflation for the current month stood at 2.95 per cent (provisional) and 3.38 per cent (provisional).
Additionally, health inflation for the current month stood at 3.60 per cent (provisional). UNI SAS SSP
