Rera chairman Antony Disa at the realtors’ conference
RERA chairman Anthony de Sa has said that in the real estate sector, it is necessary for property agents to trust consumers and provide better services. He said that transparent and reliable services of the property agent are in the interest of the builders. Shri Dissa was addressing a one-day conference and training program of Realtors organized by the Association of Bhopal Realtors here today on the subject ‘Get Way to Bikam Successful Realtors’ (Gateway to become successful realtors).
Mr. Disa said that real estate agents are a major facilitator of property consumers and builders. He said that the consumer invests his hard earned money. In such a situation, the agent must have trust between the consumer and the builder.
Mr. Disa said that it is the responsibility of the property agent to always inform the consumers about the project and tell the truth so that trust and transparency is maintained. The RERA president said that it is necessary to give practical training to the agent. He said that the trained agent has an important role when the builder starts the project.
Giving information about the scheme of agent registration, RERA president said that at present only about 650 agents are registered, this number is very less. He said that when the project is registered by the developers with the authority, the agent should be registered along with it. Stressing the registration of the agent, he asked the Association of Bhopal Realtors to cooperate in it.
Mr. Disa said that the association has taken important steps by organizing this. On the occasion, chairman of the Association of Bhopal Realtors, Mr. Pradeep Karambelkar said that the real estate sector is expanding rapidly and needs to be organized.
Chairman of CREDAI Mr. Vasik Hussain said that the RERA Authority is functioning better in the state. He said that transparency has come after the arrival of RERA and trust in consumers has developed.
At the conference, Mr. Vinod Thakkar, Founder and CEO of Fit-India gave information about agent training.
Chairman of NAR India, Mr. Sumanth Reddy apprised of the activities conducted at the national level. Mr. Hitesh Thakur, Co-Secretary and Head of Central India and Mr. Shiva Kumar, Vice President, NAR India, also spoke on the real estate sector.
