New Delhi, Sept 23 (UNI) Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched the registration for the Developed India Buildathon 2025. This will be a major step on the path to a developed India. The role of innovation will be discussed in this programme.
It will be conducted for the students of classes beginning 6 to 12 in all schools of the country. The number of students participating in this programme is approximately 4 lakh from the government and approximately 6 lakh from the private sector.
A total of 12 crore students will be a part of this programme. This programme will be launched on October 13. From 10 am to 12 noon, 6 lakh children will discuss among themselves a developed India. Registration will start from today while pre-events will start from October 6 and the launch will take place on October 13. This event will be held from the state to the national level. In this way 10 children from each state will participate.
Pradhan said on this occasion that today India is progressing rapidly in the field of innovation through Developed India Buildathon 2025.
“About 11 years ago, there were only a few start-ups and now there are thousands of them. By starting programmes like Atal Innovation Mission, capabilities have been developed in school children. Today 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs are working in the country. In this year’s budget, a target has been set to take it to 50 thousand,” the minister said.
“The responsibility of developing that capacity lies with the youth. In the initial days, the use of Atal Tinkering Labs was started in 12 schools,” Pradhan said.
