New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday expressed sadness over the Ordnance factory blast at Bhandara in Maharashtra that claimed one life.
The Minister also paid condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
On his social media handle X, Rajnath said, “Deeply saddened to know about the blast at Ordnance Factory at Bhandara, Maharashtra. My condolences to the bereaved families. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured”.
“The rescue teams are deployed at the site. All efforts are being made to provide assistance to those who are affected,” he said.
It may be mentioned that one worker died and several injured after a blast occurred in the Ordnance Factory Bhandara, in Bhandara district of Maharashtra today.
The blast led to the roof collapse, trapping 14 workers who were in the LTP section of the factory in the Jawahar Nagar area.
