Bhopal: An unknown fraudster duped the wife of a railway employee living in Coach Factory Colony of gold and silver jewellery and 80 thousand rupees. The fraudster who reached the house told the woman that her husband has been arrested by the police in a theft case. A team is going to the house to investigate, so shift the jewellery and cash somewhere. The woman was going to keep the goods in a bag at her neighbour’s house, when the accused took the bag from her and disappeared. The police is searching for the accused on the basis of his appearance.
Station Bajaria police said that Shelva Kumari (32) lives in Coach Factory and is a housewife. Her husband Hem Sangwani works in the railways. Sangwani had gone to his duty on Saturday morning, while Shelva was at home with her daughter. Around 3.30 in the afternoon, a person reached their house. He told Shelva Kumari that the police has arrested her husband in the theft case that took place in the office. A team is about to reach the house, so you should keep the jewellery and cash kept in the house at someone else’s place, otherwise the police will confiscate all the stuff. After saying this, the person left from there.
Hearing this, Shelva Kumari got very scared. Instead of calling her husband, she packed all the jewellery kept in the house and 80 thousand rupees in a bag and went out of the house to keep it at the neighbor’s house. The young man disappeared with the bag As soon as Shelva Kumari came out of the house, the young man was roaming there. On seeing Shelva, he started saying that the police has come. Due to fear, instead of going to the neighbor’s house, Shelva handed over the bag to that person, with whom he disappeared. The neighbor whose house Shelva was going to go to was roaming nearby. They also tried to interrogate her, but due to fear of defamation, Shelva did not tell anything at that time. When the husband returned home in the evening and inquired about the theft in the office, the matter was revealed. After that, the husband took Shelva to the police station, where he registered a case of fraud.
