Railway boosts travel with two Special Trains via Central India

Bhopal: In response to high passenger demand and to ensure smooth holiday travel, the Indian Railways has announced the operation of two separate, single-trip special trains. These services, passing through key junctions like Itarsi and Bhopal, will connect major hubs across the country, offering crucial connectivity during the peak travel season.

= New Itarsi link: Banaras to LTT Special

A special train will run between Banaras and Lokmanya Tilak Terminal (LTT) via Itarsi. Train No. 01082 will depart from Banaras on December 12, 2025, at 19:40, arriving at Itarsi the next day and reaching LTT on the third day at 06:25. The return service, Train No. 01081, leaves LTT on December 14, 2025, at 08:25, passing through Itarsi at 21:00. This train includes AC First, AC Two-Tier, AC Three-Tier, Sleeper, and General coaches, offering a wide range of travel options.

= Bhopal connector: Kacheguda to Madar Special

A second special train will facilitate travel between Kacheguda and Madar (near Ajmer), operating via Bhopal and Itarsi. Train No. 07733 will depart from Kacheguda on December 23, 2025, at 23:30, reaching Bhopal at 23:10 the following day before arriving at Madar on the third day. The return journey (Train No. 07734) will commence from Madar on December 28, 2025, at 18:10. Key halts include Nizamabad, Nanded, Akola, Khandwa, Ujjain, and Ratlam. Passengers are advised to check the official railway channels or dial 139 for detailed schedules and reservations.
