Congress president Rahul Gandhi will take oath as Lok Sabha MP on Monday afternoon.
In a post on social media, Rahul said, “My 4th consecutive term as a Member of the LokSabha begins today. Representing Wayanad, Kerala, I begin my new innings in Parliament by taking my oath this afternoon, affirming that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the Constitution of India ”
Rahul, who had contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Amethi seat in Uttar Pradesh and the Wayanad seat in Kerala, lost the Amethi seat to Ms Smriti Irani, now a central minister.
He, however, won from the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat with a record margin.
