Rahul honours states’ foundation days, hails India’s unity in diversity

New Delhi, Nov 1 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi took to platform X today to convey warm wishes to the people of Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Chhattisgarh, Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and Lakshadweep on their foundation days.
Acknowledging the unique cultural richness of each region, Gandhi said, “Each of these states and union Territories adds its distinct colour, language, and tradition to the vibrant tapestry of our nation. Together, they embody the true spirit of India — unity in diversity, and progress through harmony.”
He called upon citizens to use the occasion to recommit to India’s foundational values. “Let us celebrate this day by reaffirming our collective dedication to equality, justice, and love—the pillars that bind our nation,” Gandhi urged.
These Foundation Day observances stand as powerful reminders of India’s pluralistic identity and shared aspirations for inclusive growth and social harmony.
Gandhi’s message reinforces the vital role of unity and respect in nurturing the country’s democratic ethos.
