Rahul Gandhi to visit Indore to meet families affected by water contamination tragedy

Bhopal: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, will visit Indore on Saturday to meet the families of victims who lost their lives due to the city’s contaminated water supply tragedy. The visit is aimed at expressing solidarity with the affected families and understanding the gravity of the situation on the ground.

According to the announced schedule, Rahul Gandhi will depart from Delhi by a special aircraft at 9.30 am and arrive in Indore between 11.00 am. From the Indore airport, he will travel by road to Bombay Hospital, reaching there around 11.45 am. He will meet patients admitted due to the water pollution incident and enquire about their health till 12.15 pm.

Thereafter, he will proceed to Bhagirathpura, where he will spend nearly an hour interacting with families impacted by the tragedy. After concluding his visit, he will return to the Indore airport and depart for Delhi by special flight at 2.30 pm.
