- Chief Minister Dr. Yadav inaugurates Collector-Commissioner Conference
Addressing officers after inaugurating the Collector-Commissioner Conference at Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium on Tuesday, the Chief Minister said that everyone must move forward with the goal of national and social development. Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain and Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla welcomed the Chief Minister.
Welfare of Every Citizen
Dr. Yadav stated that the ultimate goal of governance is to ensure that the benefits of development and welfare reach out to the most needy persons. The government stands in support of everyone. Instilling trust among citizens is the prime goal of good governance, he said. The trust of the people is our valued asset and it must be sustained under all circumstances.
Faster Delivery of Benefits of Schemes
The Chief Minister shared that the two-day conference will discuss ways to make the administrative system simpler, more transparent, efficient, and decentralized so that the benefits of government schemes reach citizens more quickly. He urged officers to distinguish themselves through their functioning and innovations, to communicate sincerely with the public, media, and representatives, and to voice their perspectives on issues with competence and factual clarity.
Dr. Yadav advised that officers should work humbly learning continuously and applying their experience effectively for maximum public good through innovation.
Highlighting the pivotal role of officers in democracy and public welfare, the Chief Minister said that effective field-level implementation ensures real benefits to citizens. Through good governance, we can achieve great results, he added urging officials to advance in this direction.
He added that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India is rapidly progressing toward becoming a developed nation. The Prime Minister’s mantra of Perform, Reform, and Transform must guide all officers as they contribute to building a Developed and Self-Reliant Madhya Pradesh as part of a Developed and Self-Reliant India.
Long-Term Innovations and Agricultural Growth
Dr. Yadav encouraged collectors to initiate public-oriented work that future generations will remember. Every moment should be devoted to public welfare, he said, emphasizing sustainable and departmental-approved innovations. He lauded Madhya Pradesh’s achievements in agriculture — leading in pulses, spices, and tomato production; ranking second in wheat, maize, and chili; and fourth in milk production — with a goal to make the state the Dairy Capital of India. Our share in national milk production must rise from 9% to 20%,” he stated.
Education, Governance and Public Engagement
Referring to the goals of the National Education Policy 2020, the Chief Minister underscored providing quality, skill-oriented, and value-based education to every child. Apart from 100% literacy, increasing enrollment rates is also crucial. He urged continual field visits, overnight stays in villages, and surprise inspections of schools, hostels, anganwadis, ration shops, hospitals, and ongoing projects.
He asked officials to further streamline the mechanism of public hearings, maintain active communication with citizens, and promptly verify and counteract misinformation appearing in media or social platforms. Social media should be effectively used to spread awareness about welfare initiatives, he said.
Preparing for Simhastha 2028
Dr. Yadav described Simhastha 2028 as an opportunity to showcase Madhya Pradesh’s spiritual, cultural, and religious richness to the world. He instructed officers to focus on the restoration and beautification of cultural and religious heritage sites, and to ensure the completion of projects like Ram Van Gaman Path and Shri Krishna Pathay before the event. These efforts would boost the state’s economy by creating local employment opportunities.
Conference Objectives and Vision 2047
The Chief Minister concluded that the two-day conference would be highly beneficial for the people and expressed confidence in achieving the government’s targets through officers’ commitment and teamwork. Together, we will make Madhya Pradesh a leading state in governance, development, and public satisfaction, he said.
Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain said that under CM Dr. Yadav’s leadership, work is in progress to realise the goal of Developed Madhya Pradesh @2047, inspired by Prime Minister Modi’s vision. The upcoming Vision Document aims for a prosperous, happy, and culturally vibrant Madhya Pradesh, with focus areas divided into eight groups emphasizing the poor, youth, farmers, women, and knowledge missions.

Departments will use modern technologies, promote innovation, and engage in field-level tours at least twice a month.
