Public awareness rally and tree plantation program concludes

Bhopal: The “Nashe Se Doori Hai Jaroori Abhiyan” was successfully launched by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of Saint Hirdaram Girls College. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse among the community in Mugalia Haat village.

NSS volunteers organized an awareness rally throughout the village, emphasizing the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life. Through motivational speeches, they encouraged villagers to abandon drug use. Additionally, a tree plantation program titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” was held to highlight the vital role of trees in providing life-sustaining air, paralleling the nurturing role of mothers.

The program included participation from the village secretary, who promoted environmental protection through tree planting. On 2nd August 2025, a similar initiative took place on the college campus, with the Principal, Dr. Dalima Parwani, emphasizing the significance of such campaigns in fostering positive change. The program concluded with enthusiasm and a shared commitment to community well-being.
