PSY Excellence Award Ceremony 2024-25 held at St. Paul’s School Bhopal

Bhopal: The PSY Pratibha Samman Yojana program for the year 2024-25 was organized at St. Paul’s Co-ed School Bhopal on October 31, 2025. The ceremony honored outstanding students, teachers, and institutions. The chief guest of the program was Surendra Sharma, Regional Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and the ceremony was presided over by S.K. Mishra, Director of the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) Bhopal. The awards were presented by Smt. Rita Singh, social worker, and Dr. Father Thomas, Principal of St. Paul’s School.

The ceremony was attended by around 35 beneficiaries from Madhya Pradesh, including beneficiaries from Bhopal district. Three institutions from Bhopal, namely St. Paul’s Co-Ed School Anand Nagar Bhopal, Mount Carmel Convent School, and Kamla Nehru School Bhopal, were awarded certificates of excellence for their outstanding performance.

The Pratibha Samman Yojana is a scheme of the NITI Aayog, implemented by the Education and Research Council in all states of the country. Under this scheme, district-level beneficiaries are awarded Rs 1,200, and state-level beneficiaries are awarded Rs 1 lakh.

The meritorious students showcased their artistic skills through various themes, such as the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, state culture and folk traditions, pollution in the Ganga river, India’s new education policy, and the impact of chemotherapy and Ayurveda in cancer treatment. Students from the state participated in cultural and educational activities and secured merit positions in research, painting, and fine arts.

The chief guest emphasized the crucial role of departments in implementing activities effectively and reaching them to the last person. The program was coordinated by Mrs. Shubhra Shukla, CEO of PSY Research and Education.
