  • Child fainted after ‘7-10 slaps’; mother demands CCTV access

Bhopal: A shocking incident of abuse of authority has surfaced at Guru Nanak Higher Secondary School in the Eidgah Hills area, where the principal allegedly assaulted a 12-year-old Class 6 student. The child reportedly received “7 to 10 slaps,” causing him to collapse and sustaining visible red marks on his face.

The boy’s mother stated that upon reaching the school, she found her son in a state of unconsciousness. When she sought an explanation, the principal allegedly emerged and confronted her, aggressively questioning, “What, will you make your son a goon?” before forcing her to leave the premises.

The distressed family immediately rushed the child to the hospital and lodged a formal written complaint at the Shahjahanabad police station. Police have registered an FIR against the principal and school management and launched an investigation. The family is urgently demanding that authorities secure the school’s CCTV footage and ensure strict action against those responsible for the severe physical and emotional trauma inflicted on the minor.
