Bhopal : Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal (A Regional Centre of National Museum of Natural History, New Delhi) organized a Poster Making Competition on the theme “Planet Vs. Plastics” on 22 April, 2024 on the occasion of Earth Day. 116 Students of class 9th & 12th of various schools of Bhopal participated in this competition. This competition was organised to create awareness about harmful effects of plastics on earth among the students.
Participants created posters with the help of various colors and expressed the harmful effects of plastics on earth along with the ways to get rid of it. In addition to this, RMNH, Bhopal also organized Film Shows on the importance and conservation of various World Natural Heritage Sites of India and students took the pledge for the conservation of World Natural Heritage Sites Pledge adminitration. Manik Lal Gupta, Scientist-C coordinated this competition.
