Bhopal: In a remarkable achievement, Pooja Garg clinched the silver medal at the 18th National Para Canoeing Championship, held from April 24-28, 2025, at Lower Lake, Bhopal. This prestigious event was organized by the Sports Authority of India and the Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association (IKCA). Pooja displayed extraordinary courage, exceptional technique, and immense dedication to secure second place.
The silver medal was presented to her by Ashok Goyal, IPS, Madhya Pradesh Human Rights Commission, and Dilip Joshi, Secretary of Karnataka, in recognition of her remarkable achievement. A talented para-athlete from Indore, Pooja exemplified determination and passion in her performance.
Her coach praised her discipline and commitment, expressing confidence that she would bring glory to India on the international stage.
