PM will inaugurate AIIMS’s Kautilya Bhawan today

  • Modi will join program virtually, will also start drone service, Chief Minister will also participate

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually inaugurate AIIMS Bhopal’s Kautilya Bhawan and drone service facility today. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, Minister of State Krishna Gaur, Bhopal MP Alok Sharma, AIIMS Bhopal Chairman Dr. Sunil Malik, AIIMS Bhopal Executive Director and CEO Dr. Ajay Singh and other dignitaries will be present. Executive Director Dr. Singh said that Kautilya Bhawan is a six-storey modern building, its cost is Rs 64.44 crore. Through this new facility, we will make further progress in the field of medical education, research and clinical services, he said. At the same time, a state-of-the-art drone service will also be launched, through which essential medicines and medical items will be transported, he added. This service will initially connect AIIMS Bhopal to CHC Goharganj of Raisen district, so that the air distance of 30 km can be covered in just 20 minutes, which would take up to two hours by road.
