PM praises development initiatives in remote, Naxal-affected areas of Maharashtra

Mumbai (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tjursday praised the various efforts being made for the overall development of the remote and Naxal-affected areas of Maharashtra under the leadership of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

Chief Minister Fadnavis’ visit to Gadchiroli district at the beginning of the New Year will bring about positive changes in the lives of the citizens there, said Modi through X.

During his visit, the chief minister had announced his resolve to ensure social harmony and peace remain intact while starting various development works.

Gadchiroli will no longer be the last district of Maharashtra but will strive to become the first district, assured the chief minister, adding the citizens of the area will get modern infrastructure due to the ongoing industrialisation.
