PM Modi urges collective effort to prioritize mental health

New Delhi, 10 Oct (UNI) On World Mental Health Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today emphasized the importance of mental well-being, saying it is a crucial part of our overall health.

“World Mental Health Day serves as a powerful reminder that mental health is a fundamental part of our overall well-being,” Modi tweeted.

In a world where life is moving at a rapid pace, the Prime Minister stressed the need for reflection and compassion towards others. “In a fast-paced world, this day underscores the importance of reflecting and extending compassion to others,” PM Modi said in a post on X.

The Prime Minister called for a collective effort to create an environment where mental health conversations become more mainstream. “Let us also work collectively to create environments where conversations around mental health become more mainstream,” he urged.

He also praised those working in the field of mental health, saying, “My compliments to all those working in this field and helping others heal and find happiness.”

PM Modi’s message comes at a time when mental health is increasingly becoming a priority globally. With growing awareness about mental health issues, there is a need for more open conversations and support systems.
