New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the Emerging Science & Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 tomorrow at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, an event expected to significantly boost India’s science and technology landscape.
The highlight of the inauguration will be the launch of the Rs 1 Lakh Crore Research, Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund. This ambitious initiative is designed to promote a private sector-driven research and development ecosystem, promising a major acceleration for India’s R&D efforts, according to a release from the Prime Minister’s office.
Scheduled to run from November 3 to 5, ESTIC 2025 will gather over 3,000 participants, including Nobel Laureates, eminent scientists, and key policymakers. Attendees will delve into 11 critical thematic areas, such as Advanced Materials & Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Bio-Manufacturing, and Health & Medical Technologies.
The conclave will feature a dynamic program of talks, panel discussions, presentations, and technology showcases. It aims to serve as a vital platform for collaboration between researchers, industry leaders, and young innovators, strengthening India’s innovation ecosystem and fostering growth as the nation continues its leadership in science and technology.
