New Delhi, July 27 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today paid homage to former President
Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam on his death anniversary, recalling his contributions as a scientist, visionary, and statesman who continues to inspire generations.
In a post on social media platform X, the Prime Minister said, “On his death anniversary, paying homage to our beloved former President, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam. He is remembered as an inspiring visionary, outstanding scientist, mentor and a great patriot. His dedication to our nation was exemplary. His thoughts motivate the youth of India to contribute towards building a developed and strong India.”
Dr Kalam, widely regarded as the ‘Missile Man of India’, served as the 11th President of India from 2002 to 2007. Known for his pivotal role in the country’s civilian space and defence programmes, he was also a tireless advocate for youth empowerment and education.
