PM Modi leaves for home after concluding China, Japan visits

Tianjin/New Delhi, Sep 1 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi today left for home after concluding a productive visit to China where he attended the SCO summit and also held bilateral meetings with the presidents of China and Russia.

In a post on X, the PM said he had emphasised India’s stand on key global issues during the SCO Summit at Tianjin, and thanked President Xi Jinping of China for the successful holding of the summit.

“Concluding a productive visit to China, where I attended the SCO Summit and interacted with various world leaders. Also emphasised India’s stand on key global issues. Thankful to President Xi Jinping, the Chinese government and people for the successful organisation of this Summit.”

The PM had earlier visited Japan for a bilateral summit with Japanese PM Shigeru Ishiba, before heading to China.
