Philadelphia/New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the US on a three-day visit, during which he will attend the Quad Summit, address the Summit of the Future at the UNGA and hold bilateral meetings with world leaders.
PM Modi’s plane landed in Philadelphia International Airport on Saturday morning (EST), from where he will head to his hotel where the Indian community is waiting to greet him.
In the afternoon today he will proceed to Wilmington, Delaware, the hometown of US President Joe Biden for a bilateral meeting. A few agreements are set to be inked between the two sides.
Later, he will participate in the fourth in-person Quad Leaders’ Summit, along with President Biden, Australian PM Anthony Albanese and Japanese PM Fumio Kishida. A joint statement is expected to be issued, and major announcements are also expected from the summit.
Tomorrow, he will address the Indian diaspora at a mega community event in Long Island, and on Monday, September 23, he will address the Summit of the Future at the UN General Assembly.
He will also attend a CEOs Roundtable on September 22, and is expected to hold bilateral meetings with world leaders on the sidelines.
