New Delhi, March 22 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta today praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for achieving the distinction of serving the longest tenure as the head of the government, saying it is a milestone which is the symbol of his dedication towards duty and commitment to people’s aspirations.
Taking to social media platform X, Ms Gupta stated that from redefining development as the Chief Minister of Gujarat and then elevating the India to new heights on the global stage as the country’s Prime Minister, his unrelenting journey is the fulfillment of the resolve for ‘Antyodaya’ and ‘Nation First’ vision.
She said that crores of fellow citizens have expressed their steadfast faith in PM Modi’s leadership and also his decisions that have been bold as well as visionary.
Ms Gupta said that his decades-long selfless service is like an inspiration for everyone who is in public life, embodying patience, public welfare and good governance.
Ms Gupta extended greetings and wishes to PM Modi on the unprecedented achievement.
“The wish is to keep moving steadily towards the resolve of a developed India under your able guidance,” the CM stated.
Notably, PM Modi has reached a historic milestone, becoming the longest-serving head of government in the country’s history so far, being in office for 8,931, which includes tenure as CM of Gujarat and also the PM.
According to Home Minister Amit Shah’s post on social media platform X, PM Modi on Sunday surpassed former Sikkim CM Pawan Kumar Chamling’s 8,930-day record.
It was on Saturday that Delhi CM had a meeting with PM Modi, during which she received his guidance on several aspects related to the capital.
The CM had stated that, “PM’s visionary leadership and special affection for Delhi always fill everyone with fresh energy and inspiration.”
According to the CM, during the meeting, detailed discussions were held on Delhi’s all-round development, strengthening infrastructure, and the commitment to fulfilling the aspirations of the people.
