- Factory owner and another arrested from Mandsaur
Bhopal: In the case of drugs worth 1814 crores recovered from a factory located in Bagrauda of Katara Hills police station area, the police have arrested the factory owner, while the search for the former owner is on. Meanwhile, in the case of drug smuggling, ATS has caught another accused from Mandsaur, who is being questioned. Interrogation of the three accused arrested on Sunday has revealed about a dozen drug mafias spread across the country. The plan to open a drug factory in Bhopal was made in Arthur Road Jail of Mumbai.
The accused wanted to make Bhopal a drug production house. According to the information, the notorious drug smuggler Sanyal Bane used to smuggle cocaine and hashish earlier. A few years ago, he met Amit Chaturvedi in Gujarat. About five years ago, Sanyal was arrested in Mumbai. Drug smugglers from many other states of the country were also lodged in the jail.
Sanyal found the way to smuggle MD here. After that Sanyal sent Amit Chaturvedi to his friend Harish Anjana, a resident of Mandsaur. Harish had asked him to look at a piece of land in the outer area of ??Bhopal, after which Amit rented MK Jain’s factory on the pretext of making soap. The type of chemical used to make the drug is used in hundreds of works, so no one noticed it. There was a plan to supply it abroad. Sources said that there was a plan to supply the MD drug prepared in the Bhopal factory to various states across the country as well as abroad.
