Pharmacy students to benefit from new digital services

  • No more trips to Bhopal

Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh — Thousands of pharmacy students across Madhya Pradesh can soon say goodbye to the hassle of traveling to Bhopal for every administrative task. In a major step towards modernization and student convenience, the State Pharmacy Council is developing an advanced digital platform that will allow students to complete essential tasks like verification and registration from the comfort of their homes.

Until now, students were required to physically visit the Pharmacy Council’s office in Bhopal for nearly every service — whether it was verifying degrees, applying for registration, or updating personal information. These repeated visits often meant long travel, loss of study time, and significant expenses on travel and accommodation.

Smart, simple, and student-friendly

For students coming from remote or rural areas, the challenges were even greater, with some having to make multiple trips for a single process. The new digital system aims to eliminate these barriers entirely. Once the software is fully developed, the application and verification processes will be accessible online, making the entire experience faster, easier, and far more transparent.

The Council’s primary objective with this initiative is to modernize pharmacy-related administrative services while ensuring accessibility and transparency. The move is expected to be especially beneficial for students in far-flung regions, helping them save time, money, and focus more on their education.
