Parikrama Path of Maa Narmada to be restored in its original form

  • Ghats will be built for religious events on entire banks: CM

Bhopal: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav participated in the Amritsya Maa Narmada Pad Parikrama program organized at Brahmapuri Ghat in Omkareshwar on Sunday. He worshiped Maa Narmada at Brahmapuri Ghat. Dr. Yadav said that a grand Jyotirlinga temple will be built in Omkareshwar. He said that after the month of March, liquor shops will be closed at the identified pilgrimage sites.

CM said that the government is determined to establish the entire Parikrama path of Maa Narmada in its original form with purity. He said that better arrangements will be made for the convenience of Narmada Parikrama pilgrims. Wherever there are Narmada banks in the state, ghats will be constructed for events and signboards will be installed for the convenience of the pilgrims. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is the motherland of rivers, in which Maa Narmada has a different place among all the rivers. He said that every possible effort is being made by the government to promote religious tourism. He said that the government is also trying to take the work of development to a new level through cleanliness.

Dr. Yadav said that chemical farming does produce crops, but it also causes many diseases in life, a campaign will be conducted to avoid this. He said that farmers doing natural and organic farming will be encouraged. He said that to increase milk production, cow-mother will have to be followed, which will increase the income of farmers along with milk production. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that tribal festivals will also be celebrated on a government level.

CM visited Omkareshwar Jyotirling Mahadev

CM visited Omkareshwar Jyotirling Mahadev and performed Jalabhishek. He prayed to Omkareshwar Mahadev for the prosperity, development and welfare of the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached to visit Omkareshwar Jyotirling from the foot bridge. On this occasion, the trustee of Omkareshwar Jyotirling Trust, Shri Rao Devendra Singh Chauhan and other trustees presented a replica of Omkareshwar Jyotirling to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav as a symbol. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav presented a basket of fruits to the girls and boys. He also sat with them and had food.
