Bhopal: In the academic session 2025-26, so far more than 72 lakh 40 thousand students from class one to 12th have registered their enrollment in the prescribed classes. At the same time, about 5 lakh students who passed class 5 have taken admission in class 6 and more than 4 lakh 84 thousand students who passed class 8 have taken admission in class 9. More than 59 lakh 66 thousand students from class one to 8th and more than 12 lakh 73 thousand students from class 9 to 12th have taken admission in the new academic session year 2025-26 so far.
In the new academic session started from April 1 in the state, so far more than one lakh 62 thousand children have been admitted in class one. Out of these, parents of more than one lakh children have got them admitted in government schools. The remaining 35 thousand children have taken admission in class one of private schools. It is noteworthy that till last year, the School Chalen Hum Abhiyan was conducted in the month of June, which has been conducted from April 1 this year under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.
Monitoring with Education Portal 3.0
In the state level program of School Chalen Hum Abhiyan, CM Dr. Yadav inaugurated Education Portal 3.0 for enrollment of students on April 1. Regular monitoring of class-wise enrollment in schools is being done through the portal. The work of enrollment is in continuous progress and most of the identified children are taking admission in the prescribed classes.
