Bhopal: Acting on directives from state president Vasudev Sharma, the All Department Outsourced and Temporary Employees’ Joint Front on Monday staged a demonstration at the Udyamita Vikas Nigam (SHEDMAP) office. Led by acting president Dr Amit Singh, the delegation submitted a detailed memorandum to the management, seeking swift resolution of long-pending statutory and basic issues affecting outsourced employees across various government departments. A large number of workers, including Ashish Sisodiya, Prakash Punj, Ram Dwivedi and Deepak Singh, participated in the protest.
Dr Singh noted that employees have long been facing delayed salaries and irregular provision of ESIC, PF, bonus and gratuity benefits, leaving them financially insecure.
The key demands include timely salary disbursement, transparent payment of statutory benefits, a safe and organised workplace, and a responsive grievance-redressal system. The Front warned that it will initiate a phased agitation if the concerns remain unaddressed.
